A memorable night with Parker

Sounds like a page out my diary, and actually this is my diary, but in reality what I am talking about it was a night at Red Rocks Amphitheater and my favorite country artist, Parker McCollum.

I am officially a Coloradoan now. It took 21 years to get there but I FINALLY made it to Red Rocks and I can't wait to go back. Not sure you can call yourself a Coloradoan if you live in the state and haven't ever been to one of the most iconic concert venues in the world.

Front and center! It's how I roll.

I've been on the front row plenty of times in my life. This was a totally unique experience. When you get to look face-to-face with an artist, at eye level it becomes extra special and unlike any other front row experience I have ever witnessed. He pointed out my tshirt, winked and copied the hand gestures of the couple from DC seated next to me. The interactions were so fun.

Of course, the music was great. Watching him take it all in, his first Red Rocks concert, meant I wasn't the only one having an "is this real" moment.

Kate became my unlikely concert partner. Having met thru the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association Board, and being a fellow country music fan, it's was the right time and place. Kate, thanks for making space for Parker and I 😉

No autographed shoes like the GJ concert, but the 3rd times the charm as they say, after having seen him at Country Jam and then at Las Colonias Amphitheater here in Grand Junction.

It was a late night, getting back to my Denver International Airport hotel around 12:30a only to rise and be in an Uber by 2:45a for the next adventure- stay tuned.
