I was definitely Filling My Bucket last night - Book Launch Party Success

“Filling My Bucket: A Year of Solo Travel Across Seven Continents” Book Launch + Signing Party last night was a huge success!

I am forever thankful and grateful for all of you and your continued support.

Cruise Control Kitchen & Cellar (555 Colorado Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81501) was the perfect venue and the espresso martinis were the perfect accompaniment to an evening filled with love and laughter.

What’s next? A weekend of relaxing and then packing up for a trip to NYC and onto Bermuda on a Celebrity cruise! Having only been out of the country one time in 2024, my suitcases and camera are starting to feel neglected so it’s time to pay them some attention! 😉

A day or two home in Colorado and then I’ll be road tripping back to the Upper Peninsula for a 4th of July celebration with friends and family. Some lake time will be in order along with some mouth-watering local foods like cudighi (look it up, you can thank me later) along with pasty’s and Congress Pizza.

I am still hoping to secure a book signing in the U.P. and details to follow if that comes together!

I am not sure where this will lead but writing and self-publishing a book has been a very fun process. I have started working on a photo book which I plan on releasing in the Fall of 2023 in a collection of the most impactful moments of setting foot on all seven continents but I remain so thankful for the blog and all of the daily posts and memories as the days of my 2023 journey side into the distance.
